'Sentido Funf' - What the Funf?

Why on earth would you call a bar "Sentido Funf"? What does it mean exactly? Is it a clever marketing ploy? A way to make the bar sound mexican? None of the above. The literal translation is “Five Senses”, which is what we are all about.

Sentido Funf is all about providing an experience to remember, one that incorporates the sensory pleasures of life by indulging all five senses. The look and feel is outstanding, with ambient lighting and colour schemes changing through Melbourne’s seasons; there is a strong emphasis on funky tunes and a sizeable dance space; subtle oils burn throughout the day and night to enhance your olfactory pleasures; and lastly, the drinks and the food taste divine!

We have a new kitchen.  Chris Marchant has joined our team as the head of our kitchen and we are all very excited about the food that we will be serving this year and into the future.  Chris will be making use of his skills in preparing a house made menu full of fresh produce.  (Don’t worry, we still have a Parma!)

We also introduced a bit of sport at Sentido.  Come down on a Friday night (ore any other for that matter) and you not only can have dinner and a beer after work, you can also watch the footy.  That’s right there is Footy at the Funf.  If you’re not into the Footy you can always melt away into our beautiful heated beer garden out the back and listen to our resident Dj’s play the night away.

So really, whatever your desire, Sentido Funf has plenty for everyone.

On Wednesdays, we host Quizmeisters Trivia in the Green Room/Garden from 8pm. To ensure you get a good position, it is best you reserve a table for your team at least a day in advance. For the brilliant price of $10 you can add the special chicken parmigiana with fries and salad!

Please note that we cannot accept email bookings after 1pm on Tuesdays. Of course you can still phone us to get your booking sorted!

On Thursdays, get into the happiest Happy Wings you will get your chompers around. For $10, this deal is hard to go past! 

The weekend kicks off to a fine start on Friday, with end of week Hoopla and DJs turning the decks in the Green Room from 8pm.

On Saturday night, DJ Andre Le Vogue follows through the night to see the dance floor majorly pumping.

Finish the weekend off nicely with Steak Sunday - $16 Porterhouse Steak all day. Have you seen the tree house for adults growing up through the glass roof and the comfy couches? Perfect backyard for a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
